If you do not have oxygen sensors your system will run in open loop mode and you'll notice poor gas mileage due to rich conditions. Why don't you have any?

The 02 sensors do not plug in on your headers they are above the cats on the h pipe.

Never did I say it was a cobra, my man! I just like the emblems, much better than 5.0! Don't worry... I'm sure your car is still cooler than mine!

The first thing I did when I got my stang was replace the O2 sensors, The car wouldn't pass smog and ran a little ruff. The new sensors helped a bit. Turns out my new EGR position sensor helped even more I passed smog, got a whole lot better gas milage, and the car runs great!

Anywho, my point, you asked if your car would run like s**t with out them (O2's) so I assume that it is. Put the O2 senors in (under a 100 bucks) and if it is still running bad change that EGR sensor ($45 at the dealership).
