Question Painted turbine wheels

Anyone have any pics of a Mustang with painted turbine wheels similar to this one?

I'd like to see a better angle of them, so I can make the decision on whether or not I'd like to have mine painted. That's why.

Hey a Buddy of mine painted his black but didn't machine the edges like the pic you have...the only problem was, that all the salt we get here made it's way between the paint and the alum and they started to flake the paint off!
I would paint them they are way better to clean.

I'd have them refinished and painted with machined edges by someone who knows what they're doing... I'm going for the 'General Lee' look here..

Just had the car painted Ford Performance Red.

I'm one of the sick few that also really like the turbine wheels. I actually prefer them over my "pony" wheels.
I think that picture looks AWESOME. I wish mine were painted like that. I think you should go for it, that looks pretty cool in my opinion.
I think turbines look "meaner" than aftermarket or other mustang wheels, and the cobra R wheels are starting to look generic because they're now on F150's, thunderbirds and over like 50% of modified mustangs (at least it seems like it). It would definately be unique to have painted turbines.

I'm sick of the Cobra 'R's as well, they look cheap now thanks to all the knock-off's.

I took a few minutes and painted a turbine via Photoshop... it's not perfect, but it gives me an idea. Probably look better without the center cap, some nice chrome lug-nuts, and meaty tires.

Radon, good idea! i like the turbines!! i have seen someone do the samething, only that they polished the top part of the spokes! it really brang it out! i agree Cobra R's even though a sweetest wheel i ever seen, are getting kind of boring. it seems everyone has them now! i dig your idea and good luck with it!

hey that photoshopped pic looks sweet. i think it looks a lot better then stock, and has the general lee look! i have cobra R's and am sick of the fact everyone has them now, i'm thinking of selling them just to get away form the crowd.
