parking lights
Just bought a '66 Mustang. My parking lites do not work when I turn the headlights on. They work fine when I only pull the light switch to the first notch.
Is this the way the '66 works or is there another problem? Oh, I did replace the switch and still the same thing happens. |

My 66 parking lights work with the switch in both positions. My first guess would have been the switch but as you have replaced that it must be a wiring problem. I would turn your headlights on and then check the parking light wire at the parking light fixture itself to see if you have 12V there. If so it the fixture is the problem. Often they have no ground due to corrosion
