Places to get Cobra brake conversion?
Ok I am going to be in Phoenix tomrrow and Tuesday for my dyno runs. While I am there I want to look for places to get the Cobra Brake conversion. Would just any Ford dealer have them, or just an SVT dealer? I was also going to visit All Mustang Performance while I am there to see if they carry them. I think I finally have my wife convinced to let me get them and the new Bullitt wheels. Is the kit too big to put in the back of the mustang to bring home? I really don't want to have to pay shipping charges if I can find a kit. Any help you guys can give me as to where my best bet is at getting this is greatly appreciated.

I assume you're talking about the M-2300-K 5-lug disc brake conversion kit. If you are, its been on back order for as long as I've tried to order it. I finally gave up. I bought a '93 cobra rear and will be using the '93 cobra 4-lug rims. Check out Baer Brakes. They have a similar kit and from what I've heard, its rated higher than the Ford kit.

Yeah I wanted to get Baer to start with, just don't have the money for their brakes. I planned on swinging by their shop while I was in Phoenix anyways to see what they had to say, but the catalogs I have show some pretty high prices. Is it just SVT dealers for Ford that would carry this, or any Ford dealer do you know?

It's in the normal FRPP catalog, so any ford dealer can get it, but no ford dealer in the country is gonna have it sitting around, they are gonna have to order it.

Thanks Dinomite, thats the answer I was looking for. I figure if I pay $100 more here from the local dealer, it'll still save me money on the shipping since it has to be shipped truck freight from what I understand. I will check with my local dealers and see what they have to say. I appreciate the help guys.
