heads and intakes and such arent DIFFICULT... mostly time consuming.. specialy if you've never done them before... it's a matter of taking it apart and putting it back together... there's tons of little hoses and sensors all over the place. I think an important thing if you dont know mustangs well, is to take pictures of everything before you take it apart... preping the block and heads is another important part.. I just mean, scraping off all the old gaskets and cleaning the surfaces and such... there's so many people here that can answer all your questions about the exact process... I'm simplifying things.. but I think your best bet is to find someone who lives near you and offer them beer and pizza (wich is the going rate for help these days) and have them help you out...
ANother thing that makes life easier is the right tools... certain things you can rent.. but if you start to get into this stuff it'll pay to buy them... like a torque wrench, and a floor jack and stuff like that
