Default plugs indicate lean???

Yea, another one of these post, what could it be? stock injectors?

fuel psi is set at 40 vac off, 190 pump in the tank.
I do have a vacuum leak in my explorer intake, but it's the only way my car will idle right, i dont believe that one vacuum leak alone could whiten my plugs?
What else?
thanx for any help or suggestions.

Cool

Does it pop, run out of power, ect... or give you lean symptoms? A plug can/will fool you from time to time.

Default

No, it will only pop thru the intake when it's cold, and i try to give it gas, once it warms up it has lots of power, and doesnt miss a beat.
i think your right, the plugs just look really clean, almost too clean,
i was reading an old post where it says we have cleaner fuel additives at the pump that can cause that?
I'll try some vp race fuel or something, and maybe give it about 43 psi of fuel, but then it will be rich at idle. oh well.
thanx
