Re: Pony Down! Need Help!
It all depends on alot of factors. I have wrecked two mustangs last year alone. My first was a 1991 White GT. I paid $5100 for the car. That was with already 78k on it. At that point I had owned it for two years, and put another 25k on it. The car was completely totaled. With my mileage, which they consider 12-13K a year for mileage, I was around 27k less then the miles that "should" have been on the car. All in all I recieved $5600 for the car itself. That is including the mileage I put on, and the condition of the tires, which I actually bought used. As long as the mileage is true, the tires are good, and the interior is in good shape, along with anything aftermarket that didn't come with the car that you have reciepts for, you will get good money for it if they total the car out. Also, don't forget that if the car is older then 8 years, if your insurance company totals the car out, there is no salvage title on it.
