ported intake and NOS
Guys, i'm cleaning up the car and fixing all of the vacuum leaks, and in the process i've taken off the intake (pcv wasn't connected properly even!). This is the only piece i dont have a bill for and it doesnt look ported to me. I know for a fact the heads were done (have all of the stats). My question how much hp will porting gain me on the intake. Number 2, i'm saving for a NOS kit. How quick do you think i will run and at what MPH with a 150 shot.
Thanks for your imput ------------------ 306ci, TFS stage 3 heads. port/pol edlebrock performer intake. 77mm mass air, 70mm TB, crane 2030 cam, Mac full length headers, flowmasters 3.73 gears and more. |

If you do have stage 3 TFS heads... a un ported edlebrock intake will not support them.

Well this is all guessing b/c i don't have the kind of info i need to make a more accurate assumption.
Ported the intake may bring you anywhere from 20-40hp depending on how much of a restriction it is at the moment. AS for ET i'd say (intake being unported) 12.10's or so....ported maybe 11.80+ depending weight condition traction driver skill ect ect... With the NOS should be able to get into the 10's assuming the above also. Like i said really hard to say... |
