Default Potential engine grenade

Will the stock shortblock take a 150 shot of NOS?

If the engine is in good shape, and it's tuned for it, many people have run the 150shot on their cars. 87-92 would be preferable. The hyper piston cars aren't quite as strong.

I ran a 150 shot for a while with no problems.

Do I need an ignition to retard the timing when i spray? or can I just set it back to 10 BTDC?

I don't think you will have to have one but it would be a lot more safe. I ran one on mine and set it to pull out 4 degrees.
