![]() I tried to mount the Ford A/C-delete kit with power steering
relocation on an S-trim. Finally, over the weekend I found some time to get it corrected. Here are a few photos of what I went thru and how I fixed it: http://www.dariusrudis.com/mustang/power_steering ![]() ![]()

![]() Looks great Darius!
I want to get rid of the P/S, too, though. I think I'm just going to buy the '94-'95 A/C eliminator kit and hope that it fits on my '90 5.0. I saw an '82 GT in the most recent issue of 5.0 & Super Fords that has what appears to be the SN95 (5.0) a/c eliminator kit. This is what I *suspect* Wes is running in his 1990. My defense mechanisms have allowed me to rationalize the following: The '94-'95 5.0 eliminator kit is different from the Fox body a/c eliminator kit because of the lower hood clearance witht he SN95 body style. I *guess* that the P/S pump would interfere with the hood if it were relocated upward in the SN95, like it would be in the Fox body. I'm hoping there were no sneaky changes made to the '94-'95 5.0 motor that would keep their kit from bolting to an earlier 5.0. How does that sound? ![]()

![]() Darius,
What vehicle did you get that ps pulley from? I've been working on a friends car with the same setup. Even with a cobra wp pulley the belt will still hit itself on the wp if I use the stock tensioner pin lock hole. In the pic the tensioner is reclocked as close to the stock location as possible. We managed to pry on a 80.5" belt by loosening the ps, but its still too loose and squeals under wot in 1st with all the electrical loads on. Thanks ![]()

![]() Dont know the "vehicle" but the part number is in photo#3
http://www.dariusrudis.com/mustang/power_steering (look at all the photos one at a time, and you will see the progression of what I started with, and how I solved it)

![]() Thanks man. I must have missed that link somehow.
![]() I noticed you have a underdrive wp pulley. I believe the setup would work without having too modify the smog deletion pulley if you had a 93 cobra wp pulley.

![]() Great work! I'm running into a similar problem with a ProCharger. With a driver-side blower mount, no A/C, but trying to keep the P/S. I'm thinking of using the Renegade blower mount and then somehow relocating the P/S to the passenger side...but I don't know if it's all going to work out.
I don't want to put the A/C back on (much less cluter under the hood) but do want to retain the P/S for around town driving. If you happen to know of any ideas or know of anyone who has done this please send them my way. ![]() Again, nice job. ![]() E

![]() UPDATE:
Ford A/C delete, S-trim.. Installed same ps pump pulley as Drudis (thanks it did help ![]() With a belt that barely slides (wp has no lip) on (827k6?!?!) the tensioner can't be in the stock location or the belt will hit the wp. With tensioner re-clocked as close to stock as possible the belt is tight but not quite tight enough, it still squeals in 1st. under wot. He bought a 825k6 tonight..try later.. ![]() Possibly a non-underdrive crank pulley is the solution. ![]() Brad
