Power Steering + Smog Delete
 

I have an 85 5.0L HO that I'm putting in my 81. Since my 81 has rack steering and no longer needs emission testing, I would like to remove the power steering pump and smog pump. Do I need a special kit? How do I route the belt? I've attached a diagram to show you my currect configuration. Remember, I have to maintain the same direction of belt travel in order for the water pump to work correctly. I've spent hours searching, but haven't found an answer yet. Thanks for your help!

u will need a manual rack or its gonna be a pain in the ass to steer.the only way i seen the p/s and a/c tooken off it getting the ac delete bracket that has a pulley and put spacers behind it to take place of the ps to tighten the bolts
