Question power steering delete and short belt routing?

Here goes - my ps pump has leaked like crazy since I bought the car 3 years ago. I am sick of it. I would like to - for the time being (no $ for Flaming River), remove the ps pump, loop the lines, and run a short belt, the only problem is I have never seen a short belt for this application. I never had AC, so if I remove the ps pump, there is nothing on that side of the motor.

How do I loop the ps lines?
Could I move the tensioner to that side?

thanks

you can run the altenator, water pump and crank pulley using one belt and the tensioner. the belt will be really short, just go to the auto part store and try diff. belts. be sure the water pump spins the right way. if you didnt want to spend the money on a manual rack then just plug the lines... i wouldn't trust a power rack without the pump though

I am looking to find a way to run the alternator, water pump, and air pump - how do you route that belt - I have seen others, but never a short belt with all the accesories on one side of the engine (besides just water pump and alternator)

thanks for the replies
