I ordered a 73mm C&L maxflow meter thursday night. I need to take the sensor off my stock mass air meter and put it on the C&L meter right???? What the hell are sampling tubes??? Do I need one?? please help

Yes, the meter willl come without electronics...should have checked the classifieds, I had one for $125. I'm surprised that they didn't ask you what size injectors you had..normally the meter would come set up for 19# injectors..if you look at the meter when you get it you'll notice a smaller tube on the inside, that's the sampling tube.

Thanks......yeah, I ordered one for 24# injectors......so I must have got it right.

Yes, you most certainly need the sampling tubes, but only if you plan on switching injectors. The sampling tubes basically replace the hot wire in the meter. When you change injectors, you change the tubes to recalibrate the meter. Sounds cool, right? Well...I've heard of this stuff leading to part throttle driveability problems on non-blown cars. Just a word of caution, that's all. I hope your car isn't one of those.
