the boxes where the lower control arms mount. They are sheetmetal and you can weld the seems to keep them from ripping apart.

i have the factory 5 control arms as well and love them. they are well mannored for the street as well as allow the rear to hook great. the company is good too...

I use the MM nonadjustables and love them, but again I'm more of a cornering guy than a drag guy. For straight line I would probably cheap out a bit more and do something with just urethane bushings in both ends of the control arm, and I would also replace the upper control arms with something tubular/adjustable. JD's Performance seems to have a good deal for drag setups, and Stangnet's Partshopper has good deals on the Pro3i arms for cornering setups (very similar to the MM arms).

When, if i weld my boxes, can i use a wire feed mig? and do i just weld a bead down the seam? i am launching pretty hard right now, and want to avoid problems when i get some serious power...thnx.

Place a jack under the box and "push it up tight" then weld around all seams, any place that two pieces meet weld it. Then take the back seat out and weld the spots that have pulled loose. Take the back seat out first, or it will catch fire.
