looking for a supercharger for street use only may take it to track maybe once thats all its for a 93 cobra stock motor looking around a 9psi kit dont want to spend more than 4 grand total for everthing doing it myself so which kits are the easiest to install and come with everything thanks

If you want low end, Kenne Bell 8psi is the way to go.
you could put 30lb injectors, pro-m 77mm MAF, Or 80mm Maf, & a good 190lph pump & adjustable fuel regulator, 3.55 gears & there ya go, low 12's maby high 11's with slicks
on a totally streetable motor.
Look out LT1's!

Powerdyne, with 3.73's....look out ls1's

Kenne Bell,Vortech,ATI,Paxton all make reliable blowers.

Stay away from Powerdyne as they are prone to have their internal-drive belt breaking.

Whats wrong with the Prochargers? I havent had any problems with mine.

I have a Vortech 14# system with an after cooler. If all you want is grunt, go with the Kenny Bell or FMS Saleen positive displacement. Whatever you decide, make sure you tune it right. Also, you'll need to decide what FMU ratio to go with. This is something most people look over. I'm running a 8:1 FMU. A 6:1 should be more than enough for your application. Have fun and good luck!!

Kenne Bell would be my choice if I had to do it again. Sounds like you probably get to the track about as often as I do and just want fun and feel for street driving. I've had my KB on for about 12,000 mile and have not one problem. If you get it new it comes with everything you will need for the boost your looking for. No belt to wear out and no pulley adjustments, no oil line to plumb. All this equals good power with lots, lots of reliability.

Last October I ran a 12.6 @ 112mph with a 1.7 60ft on BFG D/R. I added the Eldelbrock IAS shocks and struts, MAC upper and lower and Steeda quad shocks this winter so I hoping for 12.0s with the BFGs. I've got a dyno session scheduled for Feb 10 to get my car tuned in and the Speedbrain set right. I hope that this helps.

Thats kinda what sucks about the KB its sold only from Kenne Bell themselves. You usually can get the number from your MM&FF.
DemonGT- Theres nothing wrong with the S-trim, I have 2 freinds with them and have had nothing but goodluck with them. But the question was, " I'm looking for a street blower and don't get to the track to often, and want to spend no more than $4000." For right around $3100.00 you get everything you will need to run 6 to 9 psi of boost. For street purposes you'll think you have a bigblock under your hood. There is a good thread that one of the other KB owners started on the Corral site, titled "KB owners, whats your best time. Check it out it has lots of good info.

Count me in for a vote for a centrifugal (ATI, Vortech, Paxton). Kenne Bell's are nice for street use, but just don't seem to put up the same numbers at the track (centrifugal efficiency tends to be a lot better). If you want lowend you can't beat the Kenne Bell tho.

Look at the title... It specificly asks for a blower for street use, and you can't beat the KB for the street! If I've said it once I've said it a million times; the KB is NOT a serious race blower and doesn't pretend to be. It is how ever an EXCELLENT street blower and does decent at the track. So if the intended use is mostly street (as stated in the title) with an occasional trip down the track then the KB will do an excellent job. I have had mine for 2 years on a daily driver that gets the snot beat out of it and have no problems whatsover. I have friends with Vortech's, ATI's and Powerdyne's and none of them have the low end grunt of the KB thought the first 2 will make more on the top end but in the stop light drags low end is going to rule provided you can get it to the ground. I think all the major brand blowers are good units (even Powerdyne if the new gear driven one works like it should so they no longer have belts to break) so I wish you or anyone the best in which ever one they choose. http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...board/cool.gif

92GT all the free stuff and a few bolt-ons, lowered with Ebiach's and Koni's, Kenny Brown subframe connectors, lower G-brace and jacking rails. BBK upper and lower control arms, polyurethane bushings all around and Ken Bell blower, ram-air, 80mm mass air, etc.

whats different about the KB compared to the S-trim?and how much dose there 8/9 psi units cost?

Well, from talking to friends and looking at the diffrent adds I would have to say you could get the S-trim for $400-$500 cheaper than the Bell. In both cases you get everything you need to install and run but from my expirances you can have your Bell up and running in 4 or 5 hours, start to finish. The nice thing or not the nice thing depending on your ideas is that theres no intercooler and its plumbing to install on either so it would be half as long as say a Procharger.
