New member and a question
Just want to say I have been a lurker for a while reading this site and posts. Everyone is great and all the information are top notch. Can't say I know too much about cars so reading these forums are helping a lot.
After debating for a while.. I finally got a '89 GT and start my pony project. It needs some TLC, but I see a lot of potential in this puppy. (or should that be pony http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif) Anyways.. here is my question.. My first project will be replacing the clutch in the car. A couple of people I spoke with sworn by RAM clutches. After doing a bit of research, I am deciding between the POWERGRIP or the 900 series. Am I looking at the right items? Are there better brand out there? The GT currently is pretty much stock. Has a K&N filter, Flowmaster exhaust. I plan to, with the help of a friend and lots of luck, rebuilt the engine, suspension and eventually supercharge it. Any input in this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |
