Does the Eibach drag kit lower the car at all?

Hey guys, i was looking into lowering springs for my car, but i don't want to have the stiffness that comes along with them (for weight transfer at the strip). So my question is does the eibach drag kit lower the car at all, or does it just aid in the weight transfer? I'd really like to lower my car, the fender gap drives me nuts, but anyway. Thanks in advance.

I haven't personal experience here, so my word isn't exactly gospel on this subject. I think the Eibach drag launch kit lowers the car a *little* bit. Probabl barely enough to notice. The main benefit there is for proper weight transfer, and some lowering springs can actually hurt you 1/4mi. times a tad. If all you want is some lowering springs, check around for the spring rates of different manufacturers. The springs with the lowest rate will be the softer springs.

no the really dont. at first the car will sit higher. then they setle to stock hight. if you want drag sprigs and a low ride. get a coil over kit for the front struts and rear shocks and get drag weight springs with the kit. this way you can adjust the hight and still have weight transfer.

I added the drag launch kit and the 70/30 and 50/50 all at one time and my car dropped @ 1.5" all around. The kit will lower your car, I have just enough room to slide my big 3.5 ton Craftsman jack under it. It lowered all my friends cars as well even without the struts and shocks

Hey Rick, Thanks, ive been tryin to get some first hand info on these. Does your car sit higher in front than in back now? I hate it when cars looks like that and someo people told me the Eibach setup does that. If not, I'm going to order it. 1.5" sounds good. Should be about where Im at now already, but with better traction http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...oard/smile.gif

Actually it sits a hair lower in the front, I think it is well worth the money http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...rd/biggrin.gif
