Whistling problem HELP!

I've been helping a friend on his 93 GT and we just ported his heads and installed a Trick Flow intake, BBK 65mm tb, BBK 65mm EGR spacer, CL 73mm MAF. And he has this whistle at low RPM's. I think I read something about the BBK thottle body have this problem. But I'm not sure. Any ideas about what it is? Or how to fix it? Thanks!

I'm having the same problems with my BBK throttle body. And i've just about given up on that brand. I can't give u any advice on how to solve this problem, but if I get mine to stop making that noise I will let u know

Thanks for the info. I know not to buy a BBK throttle body now.

Thanks! Atleast we know it's the tb now, I was pretty sure it was though. I thought someone posted a fix for it a while back...but I'm not sure.

yes it is the tb..when they drilled the hole in the middle they didnt drill it at the anglle that the air would be going threw it at an idle..they drilled it straight..drillling the hole out at an angle is the propper way to fix it but drilling a sligtly bigger hole and turning down the idle screw afterwards will correct the problem also

Yeah we were joking about that last night. What's that whistle? Ohh that's my blower. Let me see it. Yeah I would but the hood latch is broken. http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...board/wink.gif
