Plug choices?

Wondering what the diff is between the spark plug choices...Mine (95 GT, stock) calls for the Autolite 25's, but some people suggest I use the 24 or 764, and I was wondering why? Does it help? I think the 24 is colder plug, and the 764 is longer? Any ideas on which to try next? I know there are tips on plug choices as far as performance gains on some engines, but not sure how to choose. Or I just get the 25's again and be done with it.

If you're near-stock, just get the 25's and be done with it.
Get the gap right and change them every 10,000 miles or so and you'll be all set.
You can waste a lot of money trying a lot of different plugs and not see any real gains, especially on a stock engine.
The Autolite 25's are fine. I've used them for years and have no problems or complaints.

thanks for the quick reply...those (25's) are what I have/been using, but lately heard the options more openly discussed. I guess having a 5 liter, they might assume I am modded up to the gills. Nope, not yet!
