how fat and how skinny on ponies?

Hey guys I was wondering what the widest and skinniest tire you could mount on the pony rim, Its time for new meats and I want to do something that looks pretty good, because the 245's I have in the front look kinda funny. Thanks,
John

I've seen 205 in the front and 255 in the rear.

Look funny? The reason you put skinnies on front is to save weight, but a signifigant amount of the weight you save is from smaller wheels, you're not gonna get much from smaller tires.

The tires I Have on the car are 245 Firestone Svx's all around. For some reason they look so huge on my car in the front, and everyone laughs at me for it, I just want some smaller tires in the front, plus I dont have the money for a new set of rims.
