What length push rods should I use? I purchased the 165cc stud mount and FMS 1.6 roller rockers.

Stang Runner 11-21-2001 12:01 AM

I used the stock ones with my ped. mount 1.7's... no probs

Why not call AFR and find out.

Dark Knight 11-23-2001 02:47 AM

they really cant tell you because of variables like head gasket thickness... if the heads are milled, block decked etc...they SHOULD work, but it doesnt hurt to check..
BTW, if you stick new lifters in, soak them in oil over night so they are full when you go to adjust the valves or check the length.. that way they dont compress to quickly

Better yet, pump them in a can of oil until there are no more air bubbles coming out.

Take care,
-Chris
