Anyone with 315s out back?
 

Several months ago I switched to the AFS cobra Rs that are 17x9 up front and 17 x 10.5 in the rear, and I have a quick question for anyone that is running this same setup.

I had to remove the quad shocks because they were rubbing the tires something fierce, and of course I now have wheel hop from hell. Are aftermarket lower control arms a sufficent substitute? I'm just trying to NOT lose my 8.8 over some heavy bumps. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!

I'm not running the same setup but know that it is ok that you had to drop your quad shocks, it is very commom when getting that wide in tire size, there is an aftermarket pinion snubber you can buy to prevent wheel hop, I have the upper and lower control arms, springs and drag shocks and still had wheel hop, got the aftermarket snubber and problem solved. Good luck;)
