Do liquid filled fuel pressure gauges freeze in the winter? Don't laugh at my question, but I am looking for a fuel pressure gauge for my brother's GT and was planning on buying a liquid filled model. But I am not sure if it will survive in temps well below zero!? Have any of you ever seen a liquid filled gauge freeze, or is the liquid some kind of an oil or something that doesn't freeze in sub-zero temps? |

I am pretty sure that is oil in the gauges. |

the only problem can be if you use an isolator and dont fill the line from the isolator to the gauge with a 50/50 antifreeze mix. electronic ones dont need this but my old auto meterdoes. and my car is outside right now in the snow, |

Liquid filled gauges are typically filled with glycerin. No, it won't freeze. |
