need a cam???

I have the following list of parts on my stock 302 1992.

-lightly ported E7TE
-trick flow street intake
-1 5/8 headers with 2 1/2 exhaust
-9 psi from a powerdyne

I need a litle cam with slip patern lift n duration.Something like less than .500" lift on both side and 210/220 duration.

I want a cam with a set of springs that will give me good power from 2000rpm to 5500. With an healthy muscle idle.

IT's very important

E cam.

.498/.498, 220*/220*@.500

The E cam has proven itself as a good blower cam, but those stock iron heads are REALLY holding you back.

crane 2031 or TFS stage1.

I've got a custom grind cam for sale right now. Its 230/242 @ 0.050" and .499"/.499" lift with 1.60:1 rockers. LSA is 108 on 104 ICA. Its a great NA cam for stock/GT-40/GT-40P heads and would probably work as well for a blower car. The long exhaust duration would let you get all the force fed air back out of the cylinders.

Email me at jchambers@kellnet.com if interested.

It's not the head that hold me back..it's the money. In Canaca a set of good aluminum head like the trick flow cost more than 2000$

So you think the 2031 is good for me. If i remember it's like the 2040- E 303 except it haves less duration on intake side.

Do the E 303 is good for me? If i heard the stang bangers every 5liter should have this cam.So anybody have the same engine set up!!! If you say it's good for me, i'll check for it

Hey guys, a last question!:D

The crane 2031 have .513"/.529" but it's with 1.7:1 rockers. They say the cam is for use with 1.7 rocker so can use it with my stockers?

The lift will go down to .483"/.498" and will be perfect for my stock head clearance.

What do you think about that????

E-cam doesnt have what you requested, split duration, so I dont know why somebody threw that out there, and a narrow lsa is not blower freindly. get a comp. cams catalog, they have MANY to choose from that fit your needs.

Mach 1 said it all! For a blower friendly grind you want a lsa somewhere between 112-115deg with split duration favoring the exhaust side. Call Ultradyne or Comp Cams and they'll take care of you.
