wheel & tire combo ??
 

whats up everyone, I am asking this question for a friend. He has a 91 conv't 5.0. He is converting to 5 lug so he can get the cobra 17x8 rims. He said he would like 275's on the rear. Will they fit?
In my past experience with my own mustangs,I was under the impression, that wide of a tire rub on the quad shocks? Anyone have experience with this. What size tires would you recommend with 17x8's

Probably the widest tire you should put on an 8" wide rim is 255 or so. Otherwise, the middle of the tire will bulge out slightly and wear quickly.
