port matching? is it worth it?
while i have my motor down for a cam swap i was wondering if i would see noticable gains by port matching the intake. What type of grinding material do you use with the dremel? any advice on how to do it?

Yes, port matching is worth it, especially the lower to the heads area, I've done it and netted a solid tenth in my opinion.
Using a dremel, you will go through a ton of grinding wheels, I suggest an air grinder |
Every little bit is worth it, I am grinding down the flanges on my headers this weeknd to get all I can get out of them. I heard they do this alot in trophy stock. Good luck.

I ported my lower on my mustang with a dremel tool. When you port the lower dont go for bigger get the dog legs. Then open the rest of the ports. Use the grinding stones to smooth the metal. Use metal cutter for opening the intake.

You need a carbide tool if you are going to cut much metal out. I used an air die grinder and it went pretty quick.
