6psi is not a problem.

Incidentally, the garbage can can also hold the Powerdyne's, after they blow up from what I hear.

"Supposedly" the problems they have had earlier have been resolved.

6#s will not hurt it. Mine is running on a 302 with 120,000 miles on it. The problem that sullied powerdyne's name was a rash of internal belt failures. The idler pulley inside would seize up and chew the belt in half. The new blowers have a tighter belt and the idler pulley removed. Powerdyne also lightened the internal components so the belt would not have to be as tight. My belt recently broke and I changed it for the first time. I removed the idler pulley and installed the new belt. It was pretty simple and it took me 4 hrs. If you want a quiet simple street blower, get a powerdyne. If you want clutch dumping wheel standing launches, get a Vortech or any gear driven blower.

So are the new ones reliable enough? Also, I seen adds for a 9psi Powerdyne for $1999, is this the same one as the 6psi with a different pulley? How many different ones do they have? I know they have a Race Application one too, just not sure if that is the 9psi one or an even better one. I was thinking of getting a powerdyne, just not soon cuz there are other mods I'm still thinking of doing first.
