New combo need opinions.

Ok i have a Edle brock intake NOT the RPM,E303 cam,1.7 rollor rockers,Twisted wedge heads,24 pound inj,65mass,4:10's,alum shaft,5 spd,I powershift. Now heres what im doing ... custom ground cam around the 1.7 roller rockers, port job by our engine god on the upper and lower intake and a chip because im going to turn it 7000. Im shifting at 55 now with this crappy e303. What will this do to my ET's? mind you im doing all this around a 175 shot of nitros and the chip is coming from a superchips distrib *Kintner motorsports* in Indiana. If you guys also wouldnt mind i need your opinion on how hard it is to replace the steering rack is it possible for me to do it myself? God speed guys sorry its so long.

first that motor will not make any more power at 7000 and may slow you down. second, it will definately slow you down when that rod comes through the block and at the same time the valve hits that piston when it floats. you need more than you think to rev 7000 rpm's. i dont reccomend it. if you have rods or rod bolts and valve springs made to rev that high then fine. and not the springs that come with the heads. other than that you seem ok. if you shift at 5500 now why dont you try to shift at 6000 and see what happens. but as long as you get the proper equipment and the motor is ok then rev the heck out of it. just dont try it with the stock motor.
