Drag Radials are Wrecking my Car!!

It's true. The car is twisting, ever since I started using drag radials as an every day tire. There's a large gap developing on the right side of the hatch area...I can see daylight through it from inside the car.

My car is bent!

Ever heard of sub-frame connectors. My dads camaro is cracking by the sun roof from hard launches on slicks.

If you dont stiffen your chasis and add gobs of HP this is what happens.

Although I think it is unlikely you are hooking good enough with drag radials to bend your frame.

Yeah, you're making significant power with your combo and unless you stiffen the chassis you're going to continue to twist things.

Subframes connectors would be a good start if you don't have them. If I had a high-power hatch, I'd look into a cage.

If you do do sub frames, dont do bolt ins or cheapo's. We had 2 cars on the lift, On with welded in(butchers job) and one with bolt ins. One was a 91 the other a 79, both hatch back, and when on the lift you couldnt close the doors lol. and the 79 had a 6 pt cage.:o
