computer & mass air matching?
 

Here's one for the electronics gurus out there:
Does a 1991 A9L computer HAVE to be matched up with the 91 mass air electronics(on top of the mass air meter) or is it the same electronics as say, the 93 5.0? Just curious.....thanks for any & all replys!

sean, the electronics are the same from 89-93. anything wrong??

Nothing really wrong, but I heard that there may be slight differences in the 90-93 mass air electronics, and found out today that I have '93 mass air electronics & am pretty sure my A9L is from a '91.....
I have Friday off so I'm doing some tuning that I didnt finish last time I was playing with my car. Gonna try to bump the timing up to 17-18 like the C&L instructions say & see what happens....
Also thinking on selling my 93 Cobra computer & mass air meter to get some $$ to put towards the Nitto DR's that I want to get...so I can finally get some decent times!
