exaust tips?
 

I have the stock exaust setup on my 87 lx, with flowmasters and the 2 1/4 tips. If I put on 2 1/2 inch tips will it be a little bit louder? Thanks.

You probably won't notice that much. If you want a louder sound you'd be better off buying high-flow cats or an off-road h-pipe.If you're poor, dumps will make it louder, but you might smell exhaust inside your car at stoplights.

I would get the 2 1/2 pipes not the tips. The person that I bought my 93lx from put some cheap 2 1/2 crome tips on the stock exhaust, now they are rusted on and I cant get them off. It looks like crap and I am embarassed when I pull up to othet stangs.
