Any1 running nitrous on hypereutectic pistons?
I wouldn't mind running 125 to 150 hit. I heard that most manufacturers of hypereutectic pistons don't recomend over 125 hit. What are you guys running? thanx, Violent ------------------ 84 GT-350, 2.5" Ram air hood, Centerline Pintails, 5-lug conversion, Recaro's, 140 speedo, 8.8 conversion, 3.73's, Motorsport A/C eliminator, Hurst shifter, ASP pulleys, Eibach pro kit, KYB's, Flowmaster exhaust, Long tubes, Flowtech off road h-pipe, .030 overbore, Extreme Energy 268, Ported stock heads, Pete Jackson Gear drive, Weiand Xcelerator intake, Max Motorsports aluminum rack bushings, 3-core radiator, and more to come! |
Thousands of people are doing it. Pick up any mustang magazine and start reading the combinations. NOS tech. line told me I could run a 150 hp shot with hyper pistons with no problem. Just tune it conservative, maybe a little rich and watch the timing, should be ok.

I've been running a 150 shot on mine for about 1 year and a half. Look at my sig for my times. I run the car very rich, and my timing is set very conservatively. I know have another couple of tenths in it, but I'd rather drive it then blow it up. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif
