E-303 camshaft?

E-303 camshaft - how is it for a street/strip car, is it reliable enough for a daily driver yet enough power for a bit of extra power? ALso, i've heard some people say there is idle, and vacumn problems with it... can someone clarify this for me? Thanks a bunch!

I have a '94 GT and with a E-303 cam. Its a pretty good cam. Although as far as the idle problems, you may have some. I had some trouble with it stalling at first but then I got a custom chip and it made it more driveable. Your best bet would be to get an eec tuner if you really wanted to get the most out of the computer.
