New clutch?!?!

Okay tommarow is gonna be the first day I'm driving my car after my king cobra was installed. This is my daily driver and I use the highway everyday now I heard that a nice break in time is 300miles of just normal driving and no dogging now I also heard I have to stay off the highway with a new clutch cause its not suppose to be held at a certian speed or rpm for to long, it only takes me about 10-15min on the highway anyways so I would just like some suggestions about breaking it in.

New clutch

I haven't heard of any type of break in for a clutch? I would just drive it kind of easy for the first few minutes, upshifting & downshifting. Make sure everything feels right, no vibrations or noises, etc. And that's about it! You should have no problem with highway driving. I wouldn't see why that would hurt anything involved with the clutch. Happy shifting!

The break in is to make sure the clutch wears a nice "seat" pattern in the flywheel. The idea is to keep it below 4000rpm until it gets the proper wear pattern, don't worry about taking it on the highway, just don't take it over 4k if you want to break it in. That said, I know many people who don't even bother breaking them in, course many of these guys are more racers than street drivers.
