If you plan on getting an A-trim, you'll need an eliminator kit but for now you can just block the holes annd get a shorter belt and route it from the crank straight up to the alternator, under the tensioner, over the A/C compressor around the power steering pump (or if no A/C) just over the PS pump, to the top of the water pump and around, back to the crank.

Does anyone know what the belt number is that you need to bypass the smog pump?
