Fuelie Big block ??

I was discussing future plans and projects with a stanger friend of mine, we got off on big blocks and got to thinking about doing a fuelie big block (460) with a Spyder type intake and using a Mustang Computer and controls.. .Would it work., I mean swap all the sensors over, and go that way. I think it would. Only problem i might see is fuel delivery on a difference in firing orders?? What do you guys think, It would be a cheap and effective way to get reliable service and big block power?? In contrast to an Accel DFI system or something comparable..

Livernois motorsports does alot of big blocks with fuel injection. According to them they put out a good amount of hp. 800+hp. It would be more costly to go that route, but worth the driveablilty and such. I wouldn't fool with the Accel DFI unit. Unless you know alot about tuning with fuel injection and such it's a waste. But if your set on doing this in the near future or so..go with a Speedpro DFI unit. It's pretty easy to use. It's alot of $$$ but worth the tuning availablity you get with it. Good luck.

go to the above site and check out Jeremy Brunson's car about half way down the page. It is a SN-95 car with a 472, EFI, Spyder intake, etc.
