Scratched a Seat on New Heads What to do?

I was doing some deburring and polishing the combustion chamber when my 6 year old nephew came up from behind me and before I could turn the power off he bumped into me and I accidently scratched the top of a valve seat. not the actual area in which the valve seals but the one exposed to the combustion. Do I need to replace the seat. Or it wont matter that I scratched that area. The valve still seals. Any recomendations???

I would be worried about a hot spot on the scratched area. Smooth it and blend it as best you can, it should be o.k.
