4 Cyl. Springs

I hear everyone talk about using 4 cyl springs on drag cars.. .and I wanted to know what makes them good.. is it that they are softer?

Yeah they're softer. The whole point about it is supposed to be weight transfer. When you nail it you want the back end to kind of stay still and the front end to lift. When that happens it changes the instentatious(yeah my spelling sucks) center of gravity and like puts leverage down to the back end of the car. The reason for the four cylinder springs is that they're light enought to allow really quick weight transfer so the torque can allow the front end to lift when the car launches. That's pretty much the same deal with the 90/10 drag shocks too.
