nasty vibration from rear of car, need help

Under real light acceleration the whole back of the car feels like its jumping up and down. As soon as I get off the gas the vibration goes away. I took the car back to the shop ware the gears were installed and the said the bushings in the rear were shot and had alot of play in them and thats what caused the problem. The car as 90K mi. and as far as I know the suspension is origional. Any thoughts, and do you think I can do it myself,
Thanks

If you just got gears done, i'd bet that its their fault, they probably didn't do the gears right.

Did this just start happening after you got your gears?
