Car died on the highway today!!!
 

Someone help, way home from getting my gt-40 heads my car cut out......... i did pull to the side of the road and checked to see if i can hear my fuel pump? it was hard to hear since cars were whizzing by, i let it sit a few minutes then decided to hit the gas tank with a big ratchet just in case the pump was failing, sure enough it started, i took off hauling a$4, then it happened again? you guys think my pump is weak? so i get it home, and i can hear my pump just fine, i pull the filter, nothing clogged?

I ran codes and got only the usual air thermactor on the first engin on' test, 2nd test i got a 41 which says something about EGO sensor running lean'........

i walked back outside and started it up, and everything is fine? i did notice the gas i poured out the filter was a bit warm?

sorry so long, but what do you guys think? it's embarrasing being on the side of the road.

I will add today was warm, sun wa sout, but the car was running it's normal temp.....thanx

Upate, my dad thinks i got some bad gas, also my tailpipes have some moisture in them, it's watery soot in the edge of my tailpipes, i checked the pump aain it's pumpin, but is getting louder than it once was, thats a sign of a failing pump also.
other than that it runs fine now:confused: ruined my night, now im afraid to leave.
