86 with no spark (help)

I've got an 86 that just stalled without warning. Now it has no spark. Changed the coil no luck. It also has a new rotor ,new wires, cap, plugs. Anyone have any ideas of where to go from here?

how did you go about checking for spark?

Check power to coil and see if your negative side of the coil is getting a pulse. Another quick check is to disconnect the PIP. if it sparks then, most likely module.

I pulled a plug out, reconected it to the plug wire and turned it over.(It's too cold out to spend any more time than needed). What is pip,and I don't have an ohm meter to test the neg side of the connector of the coil connector.

relucter

I no that at one time back in 86 in fact it was so cold out that my 83 gt cracked the relucter in the distributor (same as point's) and I changed (what they called the spark box ) rotor ,and cap . I had a small crack in it an the spark was going to ground . ;)
