aftermarket steering wheel?
 
I want to change out my stock air bag equipped steering wheel to an aftermarket one. I have heard this might be illegal. Anyone here know for sure?

I do not see why it would be. My buddy switched his 1998 cobra wheel with th FR500. They sell these wheels so it should not be illegel.

It IS illegal to replace an airbag steering wheel with one without an airbag. The FR500 wheel is just the rim and does not replace the center section that holds the airbag.
