I was wondering if anybody has the real story on the 99 cobras.

I have heard the recalls were simple and if done the car would perform tip-top

I have also heard that they had issues with the compression ratio and up to 40% of the 99's may have low compression!

Does ANYBODY know what the real story is on the 99 cobras?

The only thing that was wrong with the 99 cobra is the intake manifold was defective and choking the motor.

The recall fix on the 99 cobra was as simple as hone extruding the intake manifold.

I will sell you mine for 24K with 11,000 miles on it.:D

It's never been raced, right? ;)

I ran it 8 times down the track and got a best of a 13.66 @102.6mph.

I hardly ever drive it, It had 8,000 miles on it when I got it and it has 10,800 now.
