How to Torque down driveshaft bolts
A torque wrench or a ratchet really doesnt have enough clearance to really tighten down the bolts that hold the drive shaft to the axle. I used a 12mm 12point wrench and tightened it as much as i could, but with such a short wrench i doubt it added up to a whole lot of ft/lbs. Any suggestions?

Double wrench it, Hook one into the end of the 12mm. It's all I ever do.

I double wrench mine too. You can always add a little bit of lock-tight on it. ;)

I single wrench mine, I must be stronger than everyone else. :)
No really, double-wrenchng would work. Make sure the rear is ON STANDS AND NOT ON RAMPS. Had one roll off on me one time putting the shaft in |
theres sort of a "sweet spot"....just turn the driveshaft until you find it. you'll probably have to turn it for every bolt.
i use a swivel and a 12pt 12mm |
