Remote Battery Cut off Switch

When running with a remote battery box (trunk mounted) is it required to have the cut off switch at the track? Can't seem to find a rule in the NHRA book.

Thanks, but just thought of one more question, is it possible to dissable the switch under normal driving conditions since it is a street car?
Thanks for the reply.

Not really if you are worried about it on the street you can hide it behind your tag with a flip out bracket or just take the handle off when on the street
