lower intake gaskets? will they work?
 
i went to car quest the other day to get lower intake gaskets and they didnt have fel pro so they gave me a car quest intake gasket set..has gasket for lower intake and stock upper..cork gaskets and a O ring gasket? all i need is the lower gasket but will these work ok?

Demon-if they cross reference with the Felpro make sure they match the 1250. The O-ring is for the distributor and DON'T USE THE CORK END PIECES, use a nice bead of silicone to seal that up.

the gaskets that the guy gave me was for stock replacement...so if the stock lower intake gasket is the same as a fel pro 1250 then it will work...is it????
