Help me please!! Broke something

I ran my car last night hard and hit it with a little spray!!
Well when I was done I herd some fairly loud ticking not normal!!

I pulled over and listened to the motor and it appears to be coming from the # 5 Cyl Top of the motor from what I can tell!!
So today I ran a Compresion test and got this

#1-139psi
#2-140psi
#3-145psi
#4-150psi
#5-170psi and a lot of carbon on the plug!!!!
#6-155psi
#7-150psi
#8-140psi

To plug ground straps where whiteish but none had speckles! all looked good!!

So I know that the bottom End is good Now where to look?
Look at the lifters?
Valve springs?
Push rods?
I have not taken off the valve covers yet and looked I have to take off my intake first!

What would cause all that carbon buildup in #5 That sounds like where the ticking is coming from!

This Tick that I am talking about is a little louder than a loud lifter tick but much Quiter than a rod knock!! What does it sound like when you spin a bearing? This tick kinda sounds like a valve tapping the piston very lightly but only occiosionally (I think I dont know?)

Oh! it felt like it was limping home on 7cyls to kinda missing!

Tell me some thing to look for when I get the intake off and the valve covers!

Guys point me in the right way

Thanks ahead of time !!!

Check the simple things first. Could be an exhaust leak. After that pull the valve covers and see if theres anything broken, or loose.
