best camber/caster plates
Hey everyone,
Just put lowering Eibach ProKit on my stang with new shocks/struts. Took it for an alignment and they told me I need plates to acomplich this. My question has 2 parts. 1. Do I really need these plates?? What is best setup, as far as numbers for caster/camber etc. 2. What plates are best for daily driver (35mi/day), that will see a lot of abuse from me and florida roads. I think that was more than 2 but who is counting. Any help would be appreciated. John |
Corner Carvers
You might want to take this question to the Corner Carvers Foreum also. They know a lot about set ups. What I have heard when you lower the car and don't put caster/camber plates on it could cause bump steer. You might want to think about new tie rods that readjust also. Another good question is how many inches have you lowered the car.

I have the Steeda plates and I really like them. They don't have any rubber bushings in them so they are really precise. They are also made of thick steel instead of aluminum and were around the same price as all the others (and I ordered them straight from steeda). However, for a daily driver you may want the rubber bushings to avoid extra harshness.
