Valve Covers???

Does anyone have the polished aluminum valve covers that say MUSTANG, with powered by Ford underneath. They are usually only availible in a kit with a plenum cover and breather cap. They're sold by Summitt, Mustangs Unlimited, Dugan's, ect. My question is how good do these look in person? Does the finish look just like chrome? Any input or pictures would be great!!! Thanks guys!!!

I always thought they were a die-cast cover with an anodized crinkle finish with that machined polish look (like on an old factory alloy wheel)? Would be neat to get a set and polish then bare areas to achrome like finish! Anybody remeber those neat SVO Cleveland covers that had cast in stud girdles and about 16 extra acorn nuts all over the top of the cover? Looked like they might have been a little messy but still were neat.

I have a set of these...they don't look like a chrome valve cover but are nice looking. They have a polished alum look, I think they look very nice though. If you click on my siganature there is a pic of the engine compartment there, you can kind of see them.

Your right though, they come with the plenum cover and breather cap...I threw those pieces in the excess parts pile since I have the GT-40 intake and K&N breather.
