bolts
 

I was changing my oil today and decided to do a checkup on my tranny. Well, 3 outta 4 tranny to bellhousing bolts fell out and are laying somewhere on the highway. The fourth one was about to fall out. I had locktite red on all the bolts and they still backed out.... so i'm guessing that my bellhousing is stripped.

Question: Aside from buying a new bellhousing, what can I do to solve this problem?

Where you using locking washers as well?

drilling and tapping. lockwashers and more loctite.

Some blocks are metric some are standard. Have heard of tranny's rotating because the worng bolts were used and they fell out. Something to check.

Either drill and tap to the next bolt size..... or (this is what I'd do) install heli-coils. :)
